There are communities within our parish area which have identified needs that we are able to meet.
Three of those communities are the Glen Cairn Community Resource Centre, London Community Chaplaincy, and CC Carrothers Public School.
Wherever possible, we will share with you some experiences our volunteers have had as we update this page.

OUTREACH UPDATE
January 2021
Many programs have struggled to maintain their existence during this pandemic. The Bread Program (Glen Cairn Community Resource Centre) and food bank at St. Paul’s Cathedral have however continued to function. Appropriate changes in compliance with health regulations needed to be put into place at both of these locations resulting in clientele being serviced outside and staff bringing food items to them. Donations dropped off at the church were/are being delivered to St. Paul’s and GCCRC. The snack program at C.C. Carrothers P.S. was put on hold mid March-June and resumed activity in September, expecting once again to start up when the schools re-open. Food donations can be left at the church once on-site worship is allowed. Alternately designated monetary donations for St. Paul’s food bank and the bread program continue to be accepted. Thank you for your contributions and caring.
Sincerely, Heather Gough and Bill Yeomans

HOLY TRINITY ST STEPHEN’S HOMELESSNESS RESPONSE
- On All Saints Sunday we prayed for over 24 homeless people who died in the past year in the city of London. People are camping on the riverbanks as winter approaches. A humanitarian crisis exists in our midst! We are called to RESPOND!
- Holy Trinity St Stephen’s is joining other parishes in London deanery to support the INDWELL homelessness initiative.
- Read about the homeless projects and good work Indwell is doing in London on their website indwell.ca.
- If you are able please join the three part series beginning November 25. Signup information is in the Deanery poster above.

Being the Church in a Time of Crisis
“Dear Friends: Even though our church building remains closed for worship and for gathering during the Covid-19 crisis we still have to find ways to be the hands of Jesus in the world. There is much need in our communities especially for the most vulnerable of our neighbours. Please follow the link below for the latest newsletter from Rev. Pam Cullen at the Southdale Chaplaincy. I encourage you to read it, especially the section titled "Serve". For those who have the means, this is a wonderful way ‘to be the church’ in our neighbourhood. Please find more information at their website: https://londoncommunitychaplaincy.com
~Then they also will answer, “Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not take care of you?” Then he will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.” Matthew 25 ~
God Bless and keep the faith. Rev. Rob+
