"Surely, he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."
Isaiah 53:4-5
“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

PROUD ANGLICANS at the PRIDE PARADE
Anglicans from the London, and other regions of the Diocese of Huron, are once again invited to participate in the
25th Annual London Pride Parade on July 28, 2019.
Our presence in the parade, supported by Bishop Linda Nicholls and the Diocesan office, will form behind the banner “Proud Anglicans”.
Congregational groups and/or individuals are welcome to arrive at
the Western Fair Racetrack on July 28 prior to 12:30 P.M.
(Parking available in the Western Fair Market lot, off King St.)
The parade is scheduled to begin at 12:30 P.M.
Participants are encouraged to dress colourfully, bring a parish banner if you have one and any other “props” you may think of to contribute to a joyful and festive mood (and don’t forget sunscreen and a reusable water bottle, and maybe an umbrella). “Proud Anglicans” will walk the entire route, which will take 1-1.5 hours, ending at Victoria Park. If mobility is an issue for you, we encourage you to find a spot along the parade route and to cheer on the entries. Signs of encouragement are welcome! (Contact the Rev. Canon Greg Smith [email protected] )
